How to … Restore Internet Explorer Toolbar in Windows

You can restore the browsers internet explorer toolbar by pressing the F11 key once.

This should restore the toolbar and lock it to the top of the page. If that doesn’t work, the following is another way to reset the toolbar.

 

Close any Internet or Windows Explorer window that are currently open.

Open Explorer

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, and In Private Filtering data.

In the Reset  Settings dialog box, click Reset.

When it finishes applying default settings, click Close, and then click OK.

Close Internet Explorer.

Your changes will take effect the next time you open Explorer and the internet explorer toolbar will be restored.
